Beauty Tips
A simple yet effective skin care regimen is fundamental preparation before the application of color cosmetics. Cleanse and moisturize daily. It is very important to cleanse at the end of your day even if you didn't wear makeup. There are pollutants in the air along with the perspiration and oil production of your skin that you should't go to bed wearing. It is also beneficial to exfoliate your skin. The type of exfoliant will determine the frequency of use, however generally once a week or every-other week will do.
PREP
The right tools can make a world of difference in your makeup application. If you've been frustrated with the results of your products you may also want to consider you method of application. Some basic tools you may want to have include a brow and lash brush(spoolie), face powder brush (a Kabuki brush is great for mineral makeup application), an angled brush (can be used for brow shaping liner, etc.) and a shadow brush for eye color application.
APPLICATION
SET
A common complaint it that makeup doesn't last through the day. A great way to combat this problem is to set your makeup in place. If you use a liquid or cream foundation a light powder, such as our Tinted Mineral Veil, will help create a soft finish to your look, help reduce shine and set the foundation in for longer wear. If you use mineral powder foundation and color a setting spray like our Prep n'Set will do the trick.
GET THE LOOK
Want to try a daring look but not sure where to begin? We'll walk you through this rimmed smokey eye and sultry lip combo.

1. Place Shadow Magnet eye primer on lids

2. Use eye shadow brush to sweep Ebony Edge from lash to right below crease (lid) as well as rim the eyes at bottom

3. Use blending shadow brush to apply Key Lime in crease area and blend Ebony Edge upward into Key Lime to create a smokey effect

4.Apply Island Sand lightly under brow for additional highlight and blend into Key Lime

5. Apply Velvet Veil Face primer (can use all over or just in oil producing areas)

6. Conceal under eyes and anywhere else desired with Camouflage Creme and concealer brush

7. Apply foundation of choice (follow with Tinted Mineral Veil if used liquid or cream )

8 .Apply Ardor Mineral Cheek color to apples of cheek with an upward stroke for dramatic effect

9.Apply Black Eyeliner and Mascara of choice

10. Apply Magenta's Kiss to lips (lip brush optional but will give smooth coverage application)

11. Finish with Prep n' Set Antioxidant Setting Spray
